Default Meat Pie with a Twist.

Meat Pie with a Twist.

My entry into the Pie Throwdown.

Gathered all the essentials together.
Pie base is made from 70% Pork and 30% beef sausage mince.
Filled with Spinach, Silverbeet and Cheese, topped with Egg.
Small pie had a Mushroom Lid fitted after initial bake.

Mushroom and Egg go on

Big pie came out smelling and looking pretty Good.

Proceeded to remove the Pie and dropped in the sink.

Close up of the pie base, worked pretty fine indeed.

Thankfully we had Backup.

Please use this picture as my official entry to the pie throwdown

Thanks for stopping by

Reminds me of the time I came home from the liquor store, opened the passenger side door and my brand new bottle of Jack Daniels fell out and broke on the garage floor (yes, I did cry).

Love the idea of the mushroom meat pie, another for the to do list.
