Yes, big by my standards. I have around 30 confirmed guests coming, and might be a few more as we get closer. I'll be throwing down pulled pork, brisket, home made sausage, and pork spare ribs. Also going to have Pig Shots and ABTs for appetizers.

This will be a test of my pitmaster skills in having all the meats ready to serve at one time. I'm looking forward to it, and if anyone goes hungry, It'll be their own fault.

The 4th went well, but I was so busy I didn't have time to take many photos. Here are some appetizer / food pron shots and a couple shots taken by one of my friends at the party.

Yeah, I was tired and just wanted to stand back and have a cold one. What I don't have pictures of were the five racks of spares, and 10 pounds of homemade kielbasa. Outside of being humid, it was a real nice evening. We did have a brief rain shower, but everyone stayed dry and the party wasn't interrupted.

Congrats man... Nothing like a long term vision coming to fruition... With a set up like that, I'm sure the rain was kind of welcomed. Helps with heat and is just dang awesome to watch while dry... Happy grilling....

Who knows, I might host a Brethren Bash one of these days. It doesn't take much encouragement for me to start cooking Que. Any old excuse is good 'nuf.
