Found this on CL and am wondering if this is a good deal for wood.

a produce basket worth, 9 spilts that are about 6"x2"x18"
It doesn't seem that pricey considering that for $28 shipped I get 10#s of wood chunks.

in my neck of the woods that is a lot of cash for a small amount of wood. I would look in the free part of CL for Apple wood, or Hickory wood. Not sure if you have a chain saw but it helps.

are just some that I found. but if money if you don't have the time then the deal you posted is worth it.

Too much money. When I used to burn sticks I would get wood free from an avocado farm. Not sure whats grown out there but definitely check your local orchards.

Thanks for the feedback... I did think it was kinda high. But I guess if time is money and you don't have a chainsaw it's not the worst deal. Thanks again!
