Looks like the palehorse clan will make the drive too. If only to say hi!

It was nice to bump into you and the family.

Fyi: if anyone knows that I judged a contest and plan to buy tickets to sample more bbq after, please stop me! I am staring at a red solo beer cup full of pig candy (Meat Inc.) and I am too stuffed to eat it.

Looking forward to the awards ceremony. I will be cheering for the Brethren and the 2 teams I saw being sponsored by Oakridge (Meat Inc and Loot N Booty BBQ)

Congrats to Matt from Left Coast Q for yet another GC, and to Burnin and Lootin for RC.

Many thanks to Henry Silvestre, Kelly McIntosh, Kathleen McIntosh and Gene Goycochea for running a great event and allowing me to judge. And thank you Thom for giving me your copy of the bbq newspaper.

Kudos go to Oakridge sponsored teams Meat Inc for 5th in ribs, Loot N' Booty BBQ for 4th in chicken and 10th in brisket, and Knock UR Sox Off BBQ for 2nd in pork / 7th in brisket and 4th overall.

Wow. What a humbling experience. I didn't compete, but to taste the wares and fixin's of those who did, and to see their scores...

You all are awesome! Proud to be a brethren this day. KCCO. Congrats Matt et al.
