Started competing in chili cookoffs back in the 1990's and have competed in more than I care to count. I became a CBJ in MiM in 2005, then MBN and in GBA in 2010. I've probably judged 130+- BBQ comps (sanctioned and unsanctioned) over this time. That said, I really enjoy competing more than I enjoy judging, and hope to get back to doing 4 or 5 a year in the near future.

Banned on all public transport in SE Asia...but...it is fan-tastically delicious once you get past that smell of human faeces!

Actually, I agree. There are some subtle soap like flavors coming into play with cilantro. I happen to like the overall taste though.

I agree with this, in fact I thought Aftate and Cruex were made to get rid of this fungus.

I love chitterlings!
I use to hate liver, now I can eat it(chicken livers).
Like mushrooms, olives, pickles, vegs(most of them).
I guess the 2 worst foods that do come to mind are:
escargot
sauerkraut
Can't force myself to eat either of them.

For me its raw onions. Or for that matter any onions that are cut larger than a dice and cooked less than "to death"

Cilantro is the the top of the list. It's just as nasty weed that some people believe is an herb.
