Default Need help!!!!

I've got a barrel that I received from Line-X that had Component B or Polyol in it previously. I've did a pressure wash and a 600+ degree burn for 4 hrs. I've heard some ppl say that Polyol is mainly vegetable oil but I am not sure. Has anybody else gone through this? And if so, do I have anything to worry about? Thanks.

As long as you get it burned and brushed down to bare metal you'll be fine.

Do you have bare metal on the inside now? I have had drums with liners that had hydraulic fluid in them. After filling with water and cutting the lid off I burned them from the outside with a Harbor Freight weed burner (Propane tank) till the steel was red. This burns the liner and nasties on the inside. I then pressure wash and if necessary grind till clean. Pain in the drain!!!

Yes it is bare metal. Even after I pressure washed it, it looked brand new on the inside.
