The often-used Vasconia 32 quart pot is back in stock on Amazon after a long hiatus for $30.

I just ordered mine for this weekend's build using my suspiciously red Smokey Joe as the base.

I think I'll try to document the build step by step this time.

I just ordered the Vasconia pot over the weekend. I already built a Smokey Joe UDS using a 16 gallon drum for its smoker body. That tall drum body is set up and used as a meat hanger smoker, primarily for hanging ribs, for instance.
I will use the tamale pot body for conventional smokes, mini-WSM.

Pot for 22.5 kettle/Performer

To all,

Is there a pot similar to mini-WSM pot (32 qt) that would fit on a 22.5 kettle/Performer?
Having an extender like this may do wonders for some folks that do not have $ for 22.5 WSM.

I got mine yesterday too. I've got all the materials, and will build it Saturday morning. I'm hoping for a first cook on Sunday.

just a reminder that you can check your local mexican/asian stores. they carry off brands that are cheaper and will fit perfectly.
