I received my grill grates for Christmas and yes they have cut down on flare up and make great grill marks...better than the cast I use to have. The great thing is they will last forever since they are made out of aluminum.

I just set a smaller rectangular CI grate from an old chargriller on the regular grate.

I bought six to replace my grates on my charbroil gasser, three now live with my kettle and used rails up for chix and rails down for steaks, do care for cross hatch grill marks, I want the entire steak seared.

Another big yes for GrillGrates! There is a reason we had them custom cut sets for the Yoder Smokers YS480 and YS640. They're that good.
