Default organic grass fed ny strip *success*

this looked so great at the butcher i couldn't pass it up. locally sourced, all organic, grass fed, and bone in. dry aged to boot.

seasoned with a light dust of herbamere, fresh ground grey salt, and black pepper.

looks great!!! i've never done a steak on a cast iron skillet but the last steak was reverse seared and i almost used a cast iron skillet to sear it. maybe next time i'll try it.
