Default For All You "Draggers", or "Scrapers"

I needed a new tip for the third leg on my OTS. My buddy and I were shopping at Home Depot, and he saw some 1" rubber leg tips, for chairs. I grabbed a 4-pack, for about $3. When we got home, I opened the package, and it fit perfectly! Now my OTS doesn't even budge, and I'm not rubbing off aluminum when I scrape the leg.

I doubt it's for everyone, but I'm very pleased with the results. I plan on using rubber tips for future kettle scores. I hope this helps, at least one or two of my brethren.

Matt

Necessity is the mother of invention I found that a bottle top from a 2 liter Dr Pepper fits perfectly too.

Thanks! I try not to drag mine, but the plastic caps still get torn up. I'd like something better. I'll have to try it.

My local Home Depot only had the white, but black would be nice.

I remembered to look for these, when I was at HD today. Sure enough, black is available. Unfortunately, they come in packs of four, so now I need another kettle.
