I would argue that this site has cost me a ton of money. When I joined a couple years ago I had just purchased my first smoker a 22.5 WSM. Been down hill ever since.

I have to say subscription is the way to go! Support the site and the brethren. Day 1 of joining I learned a ton and months and months later I am still learning and can honestly say - I make some good BBQ now!
