500,000 BTU according to the manual. You can download a manual for pretty much any HF tool that has one from their web site.

And my neighbor, who is always doing projects like this, swears by these 2-

Amazon.com: Red Dragon VT 2-23 C Weed Dragon 100,000-BTU Propane Vapor Torch Kit: Patio, Lawn & Garden Amazon.com: Red Dragon VT 2-23 C Weed Dragon 100,000-BTU Propane Vapor Torch Kit: Patio, Lawn & Garden

Amazon.com: Red Dragon VT 3-30 C 500,000 BTU Heavy Duty Propane Vapor Torch Kit: Patio, Lawn & Garden Amazon.com: Red Dragon VT 3-30 C 500,000 BTU Heavy Duty Propane Vapor Torch Kit: Patio, Lawn & Garden

This guy is selling them with the push button ignition and for 16.50 shipped-

http://www.ebay.com/itm/PROPANE-TORC...item589bd5ec30

And while it is made in the USA, there is no stated warranty that I could find, so I don't know- I guess Ill just go with the cheap one an piss him off.

And it actually is the one from harbor freight with the coupon for 25$- you can tell by the picture- the item number is the same as the one on harbor freights website- 91037.
