I tried the FAB-B injection and the real Texas rub, also cooked it on the GMG pellet instead of my WSM

If I were judging you would get "9"s in Appearance.

When you wrap and rest your brisket do you put any liquid in???

Looks good. Too bad it didn't meet expectations, but that's why we try new things.

As far as brisket rubs go. I tried two marinade/rub regimes on my first brisket: One with red wine and another using a coffee rub. I've been using the coffee rub and don't even have any desire to try something different.

That is a flat, but as you know the flat will run up on the point and so usually when you buy a flat, it will have a little point with it.
