Resting in foil, Mrs Pugi a little under the weather and likes her beef well burnt, I split the difference and cooked to medium, I like mine at mooo. Final temp of 142*

After making it through the holidays we need to shed some pounds, cutting back on carbohydrates. Simple saute of cabbage and the tri tip for dinner.

Thanx Skidder!!! I will say its hard for me to go out in temps like this anymore then I have to. But the final product was well worth it!!! I may do a smoke next weekend and drag out the drum. A saying around here is you know its cold when it has to warm up to snow.
