I know bigabyte's guilty BBQ pleasure, and if he invites you over "for dinner," I suggest you decline.

As for me, I miss the barbecued crabs from Sartin's in Sabine Pass. Hurricane's and tropical storms finally killed the place. The founder's daughter opened one near NASA in Houston. I haven't been to it.

I've had 2 McRibs since they came out earlier this month. In fact, I BBQ'd 12 racks of ribs and 48 chicken thighs and served them all without getting a bite. When I left, I stopped and got a McRib.

And, I haven't paid for a single one. The first one was paid for as a Christmas present by a stranger in front of me in the drive through. The other was on the house because I was charged for the wrong ticket.

For me it is very simple. Pastrami. It is so bad for me but I just love it! After St. Paddy's day I buy up all the brisket point corned beef I can find. It is now in my freezer. My bad!!

Pick any meat, add liquid smoke, add any commercial sauce and cook until mushy.

The day I got the second McRib for free, I paid for the car's meal behind me just to pay the first free McRib forward. It was that trip that I got the 2nd McRib for free.
