Keep that snow out your way please.
You should be fine with a choice rib roast.

I was going to suggest a big breakfase dinner - pancakes or waffels, bacon or sausage... was a real treat growing up when we had breakfast for dinner... something warm and comforting about it.

No snow here, but thinking of grilling a couple pizzas for the first time, over a wood fire. Why not? Happy Sunday all

We are going from 70 degrees this morning, to 30 degrees tonight. That will be our first freeze.

So, I will probably make some homemade beef and veggie soup this week. Cheap beef, red potatoes, celery, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, beef broth and red wine -- k-salt and pepper to taste.

I wouldn't suggest using that rib roast for this, but you should have a couple more snowy days this winter up there.

I was in the Portage walmart wednesday nite and they had those prime rib roasts out the with Cristmas bows on them so I would assume it is a seasonal product for them. I know I usually only see that in the grocery stores around the holidays. I have a 9 lb. pork butt and 2 st. louis racks in the UDS right now and I have 6 chicken thighs marinading also. We have a bit over an inch wet snow on the ground north of you.

I don't know about this one. To me a retailer that said 'choice' and 'prime' on the same package makes it suspect for any other deceptive things. If I had my glasses on and read the fine print no telling what I would find. I don't buy chit from WM.
