a friend is sending me a small box of fig wood. will be interesting to try as its not that common.
i don't use much smoking wood when i do smoke so i think it will be ok. anyone else try it ?

It is a fruit wood, I would think it would be fine. But a web search talks about skin sensitivity to the sap.... But they say smoking is fine as the wood is cured and gives a cinnamon aroma and flavor to the meat.
