I am jealous of you guys
Getting my first charcoal grill for Christmas (the Kamado Joe Classic). I have been reading the forum all day and have wanted to smoke a turkey so bad I can't stand it. Oh well, soon enough I will be in the in crowd.

Hell buy a turkey while they're on sale and just smoke it after Christmas. Smoked turkey is good any time of the year, imo.

There is no other way to make a turkey awesome than to smoke it/slow cook it. 260 degrees with some smokin' wood and you got it going. Take that carcass and make turkey soup like you have never had before!
