I have a Weber rotisserie and would like to have a different style spit rod with a basket style on it for holding food items. Is this anything you have considered offering?

Some info from the Weber site:

GRILL CONSTRUCTION

No-rust aluminum vent and ash catcher
Porcelain-enameled bowl and lid
2 Glass-reinforced nylon handles
Crack-proof all-weather wheels

GRILL DIMENSIONS

With the lid open:
Height: 38.5 inches
Width Right-Left: 25 inches
Depth: 22.5 inches

If you take care of these things they last forever thats why so many people like them and have them. Some people can find them used for as low as $5 or free sometimes online.

A very unscientific way to figure this out would be to do a search on rotisserie's on this site and check the date on them and also see how many of them there are.

I will get you exact measurements tomorrow when I do my cook. I think in the long run it would be in your interest to find a Weber kettle some how in China. You will need one to check for exact fitting for the prototype, it has to have a good seal.

There is no secret in this Internet time.
I am living in Beijing, the North of China.
Most OEM manufacturers are in central east China and South east China.
Landmann, Brinkman,Traeger, Wal-mart are made in China
There are MANY weber Kettle styles in China too.
say 22.5" is RMB270, or US$43., link http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...id=20526816825

General catalog is here http://s.taobao.com/search?spm=a230r...J_FilterTabBar

Do you call these secrete

I simply do not want to buy a kettle just for measuring sizes even though it is deadly cheaper in China.
I have better grill/smoker than Weber.
I am doing this is just for you guys to have one more option and SAVE YOUR $$$

I think he was just joking around, dont take it too seriously.

The Weber Kettle lid is 23in in diameter.

The bowl of the Kettle is 22.5in in diameter.

Ill post some pics later tonight for you to see. I suggested you get a Weber Kettle not to cook on but to use for measurements and designing. It might be a good idea to check that all these middle sections fit perfectly on a Kettle before it leaves your factory to avoid any problems.

Thanks for the sizes.
Unfortunately by this big size I can only send to UK and Canada directly via Post office, which is cheapest shipping method for one piece.
For American market, It is over sized by post office.I must find a partner, I will send big quantity by sea freight and partner in change of retail. But by so doing I am afraid that I lose price benefit
Now only question is how big the Canadian market is.
I think I can forget UK.
