nice to see someone who is not a moron make gumbo and not screw it up by pouring the gumbo over the rice.
walls across texas are covered with grease spots from where i have gotten gumbo bowls that were not properly served and made useless by not ensuring the rice went over the gumbo. ruined.... i throw them at the closest wall... utter garbage thanks for doing it left.

That looks like some kick arse gumbo CD.
I made some Gumbo the other day too. I though it was farking awesome, although at the time I didn't realize I was farking it up since I poured it over the rice. Live an learn I guess.

Musta just been Gumbo Sunday cause I made a pot too! Chicken, sausage (didn't have andouille but I had some extra hot beef links) and shrimp. No okra in the house. Oh well. Still made a tasty pot. I use the fat from the sausages along with some butter and oil to make the roux.
