For those that are asking what they can bring or how they can help:

I know that this is a crazy request with the gas situation being what it is, but if someone can bring a generator, that would help.

Not being so bright, I just realized that there might not be any food places nearby that are open (pizza, chinese, etc.) if they are out of power.

Any thoughts on us feeding us? I can pick up the ingredients for ABT's and some dinner type stuff if anyone is interested.

Intentions were for next weekend- cooking this weekend- tomorrow- in Long Beach.

Has there been a solution to granting access for the volenteers. I was thinking the Mayor of Long Beach might be able to type a memo the you could post here and we could print.

I just heard back from our police liaison. We can access Long Beach via the Long Beach Bridge from Island Park.

If you have any problems, tell them that you are working with the BBQ people feeding the first responders at City Hall and that Officer Lee Nielsen is our contact.

Folks,

We have a major need for tomorrow. We need someone to drive an OBR funded rental truck down to Brick NJ, then to Coney Island, then to Staten Island, then to Long Island.

This run will redistribute much need product from Brick and Long Island to the new sites.

This is important, we really need someone to do this.
