Worked on it a little more today.

Smoker Legs Cut

Reinforced floor for smoker to sit on

Weld on lifting rings

Legs welded in place

Hoisting and setting smoker in place

Cut out and weld on chimney elbow

Weld on chimney - 5" diameter

Friend of ours gave us some 1/4" plate & cut us a 6" circle for the chimney

It is coming along real nice. How come you went with just an off set and not a reverse flow? I still need to start my cutting my tank. Also can you please give me the Measurements of your tank? like how long it is and how big around, I would like to see if it is the same size I have.

We are going to have the tuning plates - no RF - I heard RF takes more fuel.
Tank is about 5'-7" - 24" diameter.

To heavy for someone to pick up. The internet has 120 gallon tanks weighing anywhere from 275 to 400 pounds. This tank is 5/16" thick.

A friend of mine built a smoker with that same size tank. It's really the perfect all-around size for capacity/efficiency. He only had the one grate level, but it would cook right at 100 pounds of butts! Nice job y'all are doing as well!

We have all of the steel for the insulated fire box. I think it's going to be the hardest part to build. We have a long ways to go.

Fire box with air vents & door, 4 cooking grates, tuning plates, chimney cap, fire grate, ash pan, drain valve, shelf, sandblast, paint, change axle location and level trailer, re-wire lights, change reciever head to 2".
