I'm just looking for that little extra something. Second place is nice, but first is better. In Texas, brisket is what everyone is looking at. Who wants to constantly be second best.

Starting to be many injections out there, Kosmos and Butcher most common then FAB. Youll have to try them see what you like and the judges in your region like, its a never ending journey and quest to be # 1. Good luck

Did Butcher's and FAB once. I didn't care for it and nor did the judges. I was all over the place for a while with brisket until I just kept tweaking my injection. I do add a few other things to the Butcher's and that has seemed to work so far. I actually tweaked again before our last comp and I hope I have finally hit the nail on the head because it did get a 180. We will see the next comp I guess.
