These things are 299.00 at our local grocery store and right now they have a 50.00 rebate ..250.000 not a bad price !

My thermometer is consistently- inconsistent..but really the only disappointing thing about this cooker. We still love this thing.

I've wondered if it would be more accurate to replace the thermometer with one that has a 4" stem.

The kids and I made pizzas on Sunday. This is always a fun meal for them as they get to make them just the way they want. I've been using a pizza stone I purchased from Meijer, it's works great!

My son (3.5 years old) is the one I have to watch when there's beer around!

Back to the grill - I love this thing! I try to do one cook a week. Sometimes it's hot for pizza or steaks and other times it's low and slow for pork butt, brisket or ribs.

I love this thing! I took my time putting it together and used high temp gasket sealer on all the appropriate areas, grabbed 20 lbs of lump and went smokin. No complaints whatsoever.

If you're thinking about pulling the trigger and picking up an Akorn, I'd highly recommend it.

I am now a member of this club. I went and bought one today as a Father's Day present to myself. Easy to put together and I have it seasoning right now.

I used a 1" hole saw. The pipe was 3/4" close nipple and screws right into the hole.
