Angry Phark'n wind

Been great weather all week and today I am doing 12 lbs of wings and 2 butts for a party and wind is blowing 30+ mph. Moved the UDS to get it out of wind a bit but still not coming up in temp very fast.

I don't know if it'll help, but sometimes I can help the drum out by wrapping the nipples with foil so that instead of the wind blowing into or along the end of the nipple, it kind of disrupts the air so that the intakes can perhaps pull the air in better. Sort of make a long funnel kind of thing with the foil.

You may try that at least?

Good luck!
