Default MASSIVE A.N. Bewley Wood Pit

though i'm not a huge fan of spending my own money at BBQ restaurants (b/c i'm super judgemental and usually think my own Q is better...), whenever a new one opens up in my area or i'm traveling, i still like to try them at least once just to show support as a fellow Q'er. there's a new place in my town of Gainesville called the Smoke House Downtown. food was OK, nothing to get all excited about, but the owner took my out back and let me check out their rig. it was a 14' long A.N. Bewley, 100% wood fired pit. it was MASSIVE. i could barely get the whole thing in the frame. check this beast out.

Just goes to show, no matter what the pit looks like, it's the pitmaster who makes great Q.
