120 Gal Tank build thread...

Yep. I'm glad someone pointed me this direction cause I'm building a 120 gal. right now and have gotten a TON of ideas already just by looking at this one.

One difference I think I'm going to have is that I'm going to have my firebox on the side rather than on the end. Will be 18" deep by 24" long by 20" high.

Great Build! i am still planning on making mine own, I'm glad i seen your build. there's a lot of great ideas that i wouldn't thought of. that's if you don't mind of course.

Outstanding thread Gents. I am working on my project right now and the like others the trailer was the big hold up for me. Found a used Boat trailer that I am cutting down to work with the rig. I am using the Jambo J5 as a model for my pit design but want to try doing reverse flow to start.

Can you go into some more detail about what you did with respect to flow control under the reverse flow plate? Also any photos I might have missed of the inside of the smoker around your exhaust stack?

It isn't a reverse flow. I cut a series of tuning plates that carries and distributes the heat across the smoker. Working very well so far.

What exactly do you want to see around the exhaust stacks?

I was curious to see what you had done inside with respect to where the stack enters and how it exits. I may be overthinking things with my build.
