How much to smoke a turkey

For the last few years I have been smoking turkeys for people at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Usually 10 or so. I have always done it for free as long as the provide the turkeys and I buy everything else (spices, brine ingredients, ect)

I am to the point where people contact me now to smoke Turkeys for them and thought I would start charging but have no idea what that cost would be. Don't want to screw anybody but charge a fair price.

I charge $4 per pound precooked wt.

I charge ten bucks per and they drop off their bird, I do supply my rub.

I ended up charging $30 per turkey and $20 per ham and had to send people away. I supplied everything except the turkey or ham.

Sounds like you hit the jackpot there. I charge $20 for either and have had no complaints.

I supply the birds, no brining needed IMO.
