I was in a hurry, so I simply put the plate on our sofa, got
down on the floor to get to plate level, held a light in my left
hand, and shot with my right.

The lighting is a little harsh, and I was lucky to get one shot
that wasn't blurry.

thanks for the recipe. Made this for the wife yesterday. one of the best meals I have had in a long time. Used NYS, as I did not have anything else. I cannot get iron steak or tri tip in our location.
again, thanks.

Thanks, that's high praise indeed. I'm really glad that you enjoyed it.

John

P.S. Where in Northern Michigan are you? I was istationed in the U.P. near Marquette for eight years. It was the longest 20 years that I've ever spent in Michigan.

I am in the small town of Cheboygan which is about 15 miles south of the Mackinac Bridge.
I was up at Marquette a couple of years ago. Did not lose anything there, and did not go back.

Again, thanks for the great recipe. Made a small salad, baked acorn squash, and a little snapps as a chaser.

excellent recipe. The only thing I would do would be to add some green peppercorns.
