Default First MOINK Balls

I'm going to try MOINK balls today. My wife wonders how we're going to eat appetizers for supper...I told her we'd manage.

Here is some early PRON:

Getting Ready (I used All-Beef Italian Meatballs and dusted them lightly with Famous Dave's Rib Rub):


In the kitchen:


Smoker has been locked in for 45 minutes:

I am SO sorry....no final PRON. I chickened out and glazed half in the official Moink glaze and half in sweet baby rays and grape jelly. In a shocking turn of events, my wife liked the official monk balls and found the others to be a bit too smokey. Not a bad trial run. For a party Wednesday I'll be doing 98 balls ALL in official monk glaze. Yummmmmm.

I'm feeling good about how quickly I controlled temp today. Can't wait for the all night picnic smoke Thursday night.
