I can attest to that! I was fortunate enough (and trusted enough...thanks James) to get a sneak peak at the build so far...all I can say is this smoker is gonna be top notch and versatile as hell! I can't wait to add one or two to my arsenal...

Thanks JD, We are coming right along with the build. Throughout the process we made a few minor changes so the final "Specs" will be announced once the build is complete and the test runs are done.

As far as changes we've added a few things that will be very helpful in the overall functionality of our smoker. I can tell you this, this smoker is rock solid and I've got a good feeling folks will be able to sleep at night

Ok, I'll be doing the testing on Monday and post some results and pics. I've changed the size of the cook chamber moving forward shelves will be 22"X22" and there are 5 of these standard.

Just ordered a Stoker unit so that I can provide detailed data of the smoker runs. I will proceed as planned Monday without it. Once I do the testing with the Stoker I'll provide a video if possible and the graph on my website. Here are some progress pics.

Bottom line is that the fab shop I was going to have do the builds for me well....just doesn't quite do a very good job. So for now it's on hold until I can find another shop that actually takes pride in their work.

We are back on track, some changes have been made and just in the short time I was thinking about doing a continuous feed I've noticed several popping up on the internet from all over.

So, I've decided against it and will be doing a standard vertical smoker with some outrageous features. This will be a one of kind smoker, solid and have a good size capacity. I'm especially excited about this build because we have been asked and it's a great honor to build a smoker for the "BUSHMASTERS" BRAVO COMPANY 1-16TH INFANTRY from Fort Riley, KS. This company was deployed over a week ago to Afghanistan for 12 months and we plan on presenting them with their very own custom smoker when they return.

I'll post updates as often as possible. Thank you all who have shown interest in our new product. I appreciate it very much.

James
