UDS and COS need a Buddy. Whats the best Gas grill (outdoor oven) for ~$300?

Looks like the webers look like they seem to be built a little better than the Brinkman charbroil type stuff.
Mainly gonna be for fast 4 family dinner chops burgers and chicken.

It's not a little better than Brinkman grills, its alot better. Get the Weber Spirit E-310. It costs more than you have set for your budget, but you won't need another gasser for a very long time.

The Weber gas grills in general have 2 things far superior to the others: 1) even heat distribution and 2) quality construction. In addition, the Weber grill gets hot real quick, 500 degrees in a couple of minutes.

If you can't expand the budget for the Spirit, look for a used Genesis on CL in good shape.

Used Weber or used Rolex....same thing.

If you have natural gas, it looks good to me. Have the owners fire it up to make sure it works before exchanging money.

Weber grill 3 burner with cast iron grates. I have had it for 12 years and it is in good condition. I have made a choice to upgrade this year.

In addition to my WSM I have a Ducane 4100. It works great and has held up really well. Heats up very fast and holds temps really good. I smoked both butts and ribs on this before I had the WSM. Large enough to fit a beer can chicken.
