I HATE Committees!!!!!

I'll keep it short.
Booked a benefit dinner auction. Person booking overstepped their bounds and we were asked to re-bid. We did and lost by a minimal amount (first hand knowledge that committee member shared our quote with competitor). Told we didnt have it. I told committe of this Christian school that if they taught the ethics they were exhibiting, I would be removing my kids.

Much to my chagrin, we have the job back. Ill go do my best and rub the offending party's noses in our quality and service. Payment due 7 days prior due to misunderstanding.

I always ask who is making the final decision, and when I hear commitee or board, I stop there and let the person know that I will need to present to the entire group at once (If the job is big enough). If that cannot happen, I find another gig for that day. Just had enough of the back and forth with these types of folks...
