You don't need to make comments if you dont like. I would be curious to see how the brethren scores compare to the judges who were at the Autry?

4 traditional and the Southwest dish and dessert.

And if anyone could tell me how or direct me to where I can find out how to post a picture to the site with out a link I would appreciate it. I can do it on our CBBQA site, but have no idea here.

Chicken looks good. Probably why it scored well.

I would either put more ribs in the box or fill in some of the empty spots with garnish.

I would definitely put more pork in the box. I've heard from judges that full boxes look better.

On the brisket, It looks like some of the lettuce is hanging over the side. I don't know if you corrected that before you turned it in but I think judges mark down for that. Brisket looks a little dry but no way to know for sure from a pic.

I have no idea what judges look for in Anything butt or dessert but

BEANS IN CHILI?!?!?

The pork box looks like you turned in lettuce and garnished it with pork,,,
just kidding, but I would say put in more meat,,,,,,
 
Question on those thick ribs. Do they normally score well ? To me they look really fatty.
 
It gives me little boxes with red x's in it.

That'ss probably because the filter is blocking it. Same thing happens to all Photo Bucket pics here to me at work. :sad:

I have gotten the best results with them. This is the first time since the Royal in 2003 I have finished less than 10th.
 
Chicken - 8
Ribs - 7
Pork - 7
Brisket - 8

Keep in mind that I am not a CBJ.

8,7,7,8 for me also.
I would add ALOT more pork to the box. It didnt look to me like there were six portions of the pulled there. Just 6 of the chunks/barks. I would also add more ribs if possible.

Mista - on your slices, are those stains from the injection or just dark spots from lighting/exposure issues? They seemed a little pronounced, and I thought it might be the contrast in the digital imaging software.
