Well I Smoked Sloppy Joes! Pron Heavy!

Those look awesome. I tried this once, very similar recipe (my mother's of course, grew up eating sloppy joes) and I put it in the smoker for a bit, low temps. Your's looks way better than mine, but I did mine in a loaf pan and I thinked I dried the beef out a little. Regardless, I would of had three of those, hahaha.

Looks great! That extra smoke flavor and the cheese probably tasted really good. What were your temps/times?

Half a chimney of kingsford gets my OTG to about 350 400 with all wide open. And I moved the pan off of the coals once I added the liquids and cooked 25 minutes or so.

Fantastic! I'll take 3, please!

I'm wondering if using slightly hollowed out french rolls might help with meat retention?

That's great....I am always on the look out for meals that can be done after work during the week.
