My Daughters 22nd Birthday Dinner

Thanks all - We had a blast. There was just 5 of us, but we stayed up real late talking and having a good time. I did the BBQ Baked beans the day before so all I had to do on the party day was the Buns and the Butts. Not a Big spread just the Samy's, Beans, and Birthday Cake, but it was a good time had by all.

I don't normally share my sauce and rub recipes, but since you all seem to do it all the time I thought what the hell right. so here is what went with this meal;

Mark’s Butt Rub
1 Cup Brown Sugar
ÂĽ Cup Kosher Salt
1 TBsp AllSpice
1 TBsp Paprika
1 TBsp Granulated Garlic
1 TBsp Granulated Onion
1 TBsp Ground White Pepper

Mark’s Not too Spicy BBQ Sauce

Simmer for 20 minutes and put into mason jars.
2 Cups Tomato Paste
2 ½ Cups Apple Cider Vinegar
½ Cup Sugar
ÂĽ Cup Honey
ÂĽ Cup Paprika
ÂĽ Cup Black Pepper
1 TBsp Cayenne Pepper (or Ground up Red Pepper FLakes)
1 TBsp Salt

Mark’s Not too Sweet BBQ Sauce

Simmer for 20 minutes and put into mason jars.
2 Cups Tomato Paste
1 ½ Cups Chianti (Italian cooking wine)
1 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
½ Cup Honey
ÂĽ Cup Molasses
ÂĽ Cup Sugar
ÂĽ Cup Paprika
1 TBsp AllSpice
1 TBsp Granulated Onion
1 TBsp Kosher Salt
1 TBsp Ground White Pepper
1 tsp Whole Celery Seed
1 tsp Ground Ginger
1 tsp Granulated Garlic
 
Nice smoker ... great looking Butts ...Thx for sharing your recipies as well.. Its really hard to beat a nice get together and enjoy food and family ..again the simple things are always best. !!! :clap:
