Check your local Hy Vee, dollar a pound Pork Spareribs, I got seven racks this morning!!!!!
 
The nearest one is around 1 1/2 hours away, but it might be worth it A) if they have any left, and B) there isn't a maximum purchase. That could be a lot of meat for $50!
 
The paper ad says this...

Hormel Always Tender Pork Spare Ribs
Previously frozen - $1/lb

No limit mentioned.
 
There is no limit at mine, my bro bought 5 racks just now at once, and I got 7 at one time. Tomorrow is payday, may have to get more.
 
I just got the ad and it says previously frozen.

I quit buying hormel pork when they went with the always tender label. If I want my pork brined I'll do it myself.
 
For all of you who have a Fareway store close by (Iowa, Omaha,and Quad Cities)...take the Hy-Vee ad to your local Fareway store. I just called my local Fareway store and they are matching the price. They did say that they are limiting it to 10#, but they are unenhanced spare ribs, wrapped to order, right out of the fresh meat case.

I love Fareway.

Look for a Fareway, they were at 2.49/# Yesterday, but like Learnin' Querve said if you could get a print ad from Hy-Vee, they will match it.
