Question about send smoked cheeses in the mail

This year I decided to smoke some cheeses for freinds and family for the holidays.

I wondering about the shipping. How would I go about shipping?

And what would be the maximum it would be safe in the mail. As I have a friend in London who would love to have some. I already know it will be fairly expensive to ship.

You may not be able to send any Cheese to England depending on what their Import
laws will allow.
You can call FEDEX at 7-800-GO FEDEX and ask them if it is legal, how to pack it, how
much it will cost, etc.

Even if you send it by FEDEX, the USPS or anybody else, it may arrive in England
withing a couple of days....but it could be held up in Customs for days or weeks
on top of that.....just FYI.
