Ray, I usually hunt girl deer (does) too.. I get a tag for each, one buck and one doe. I hunt more for the meat, not the rack. Thanks! :-D

I DO hunt on my own land... whitetail, dove and quail.
My favorite place to hunt is on some land that belongs to some ranching friends. They are so nice and treat me like family..
The part I hunt on is 2,000 acres along a creek...

For me...the best part of hunting is spending the day out there... I also enjoy being able to put myself in a good position to get a shot at a deer. (you probably know what I mean). I like hunting in their territory..
I wait until the last few days of the season to get one so I can prolong the fun. lol
If I don't get one out there, I have been known to shoot one from my front porch.
I imagine you have some awesome deer in your area!! Hope you have good luck this season. :thumb:

I only have 10 acres up north, The neighbors asked us not to hunt my property. So they let us hunt over 300 acres on different propertys. My land is a birthing ground for the does. We can take 1 Buck and I think 2 does. I got a nice creek on the backside of my land and always tons on tracks back there. Cant wait to get back up there!
