So Thom am I understanding it correctly, this will be a 300 team field with each participating BBQ Association receiving one free contest entry and accommodations for the team in first place of the TOY chase on 10/7/13? The rest of the field is open to anyone to sign up?

Sounds like a great deal as well as a great contest!
Might have to start practicing now; "Babe, what do you think about going to Laughlin for our anniversary?" Doesn't quite roll off the tongue like Vegas but it might work :becky:

We wanted the Regional Associations that have had so much positive effect in the growth of BBQ to be a part of the USA.
