Saturday was filled with DrumPit upgrades, mowing, loafing, and cooking.....I replaced the bottom most grate support bolts with Stainless
EyeBolts and removed all other support bolts. Some all thread rod, a hack saw, and a few nuts and washers later and all of my cooking grates have legs!!!!
Kudos to the Brethren whose name I can't recall for posting this idea.....
It's a keeper!!!!
Some Ring Garlic Bologna, I'm smoking everything today @ 275* using a mix of hickory and black cherry and Kingsford. This is my first time with this brand of bolo and let me tell you that it was outstanding!!! After an hour in the smoke I sliced some up and ate it with brown mustard and crackers for lunch!!!
Rib Trimmings dusted with my own special LongBeard Rub...See the Pork Roast underneath??? That had a mustard slather and a heavy rubbing of Magic Dust...

Just a pinch, to check it out mind you....

Suddenly I was visited upon by the neighborhood con team.....
As one told me the story of new baby easter chicks......
The other tried to make off with the goods!!! Hold it right there, Mister!!!
Man!!! All kinds of Riff Raff up in the yard....Get outta here ya vagabond....

Oh, there she is, not taking her eyes off of the smoker
since I gave her some rib trimmings....
And here is the main attraction,.......Our Easter Pork Roast!!!
