My father in law and I are competing in the shade tree division at the Jack
This is are first " comp" chicken it has a blackberry glaze on it
Please let me know what y'all think

Looks pretty darn good. I like skin with a little burn to it.

I would say if possible, try to get pieces that are some what the size. You might want to cook twice the amount needed for turn in and the pick the best for your box.

Gotta trim them up closer to the same size. Flavor is the biggest key to good chicken scores followed by bite through skin. Did the skin stay on or come off in one piece and slap you in the face?
