Almost fried BBQ chix

Ok, trying the cornstarch thing with some chix. Here it is almost done b4 the sauce. I put Stubbs rub and then mixed some with cornstarch in a ziplock.

Hey, who put that fatty in there, Honey?

I am drawn to that fatty. :shock: Chicken looks good. Waiting to see how it tastes.
 
Dude! The chicken looks good, but the fatty looks lonely. Remember, never cook just one fatty.
 
It was great, my son thought it was fried then put on the grill. I put some finishing sauce on it and it was gone in a flash.

I just put some rub on the chix and then mixed some with cornstarch in a baggie. It was easy and came out great, even on my 10 dollar wally world grill.

Are you saying you added the cornstarch as if it were "shake and bake"?
 
Yes, just washed the chicken, then applied the rub, put the cornstarch in a bag with some rub, put the chicken in the bag and shake and grill.

I wish I had a better camera but that is another off topic thread.
