Just got back from our second comp and placed 3rd in Pulled Pork. Our ribs were very good, but I knew the moment I tasted one that they were not great. I still felt that we had a good chance of placing though (guess I was obviously wrong). We had a great time. This morning my 8 year old showed up wearing her Right Stuff shirt "ready to roll". She even helped deliver the turn-in boxes. We cooked 2 Boston Butts, 3 racks ribs, Brunswick Stew, ABTs, Fattys and a concotion that my wife put together with vienna sausage: slit and stuff with japs, wrap in bacon and smoke. They were pretty good. This afternoon when they called our name, I thought my 8 year old was gonna run up there and grab the trophy before we could get out of our seats! :-D

Finally, I got my computer straightened out. Here are some pics from Saturdays comp. Just so you'll know, the ribs and pork pics were taken before we made our final adjustments and walked the boxes in :-D.

One question, how many ribs did you turn in? It looks like just 5?
