Hi all,

Not too many choices for me around here but I found this stuff, is it the right type for wrapping briskets?

Thanks

Can't tell if it is food safe or not. Assuming it is, just make sure it isn't wax coated. Some is and that isn't good for heat. If it feels slick or is shiny on one side, it is probably coated.

Where did you find it? If Sam's or any other warehouse, I suspect your fine.

When you decide you would like a wider paper, POS Paper has good prices and selection. I purchased 24" and wish I had gotten 36", especially for brisket. I got the red, but color really makes no difference. Some even use a paper bag from the grocery store.
