Make lump charcoal

I've been thinking of inviting folks to participate in making homemade lump charcoal plus have a get together cook out here at my home. So, here is an invite.

Yeah, I am an idiot.. How do you go about doing your own Lump Charcoal? I would like to try that!

Sounds like a fun project. I remember in Junior High the teacher made charcoal in a test tube.
