Santa knew I needed fattie piston help so he provided a wrapping paper tube to pull this this deal off in a pinch.

JD regular sausage, onion, bellpepper, garlic, mozzarella filling and my first attempt at bacon weave. Next time thicker bacon.

Great idea that disposable piston. Of course I still want to see pron of the cooked fattie.
 
Here was the final product surrounded by some Funk style hot and fast ribs.

Innovation out of necessity....Excelent! Some times it doesn't matter how you get there, it's end results that counts! Good job on the ribs too!
 
That's an RTD class photo there! Nice job on the fatty. I've been wanting a fatty piston and turns out I already had one!:lol:
 
This is the only forum I know of where there could be a BBQ emergency- and someone would have an answer to it!
