I decided to break my pork tenderloin virginity today and stuff one with some Johnsonville cheddar brats

Here are a couple tenderloins trimmed up and stuffed with the cheddar brats

Rubbed with some Smokin Guns Mild

Served with some red skin potatoes that were roasted in some onion soup mix, rosemary, and garlic

It was very juicy.

The rub provided a nice complementary flavor to the pork

Ron that's suppose to be our secret.

They look great. What did you use to get the brat in the tenderloin?

Take a long skinny knife and pierce down the middle of the tenderloin. Then follow it with a turkey baster to open it up.

Thanks everyone!

I forgot to add this technique is from Myron Mixon's book Smokin'.

Nice, love the way you shoved that brat in the tenderloin! :clap2:I knew it didn't look like you rolled it.

They do look good.

You can also use a "Sharpening Steel" to make a hole in the Tenderloin.

I had someone else mention that to me and that probably would have been an easier tool to use if you have one.
