Been lurking on the UDS thread for a year or more, finally have a drum, actually 5.. they once held dessicant. no liner..
the odd thing is they taper at the top.. from 22.5 to 22.0 inches..

Have any of you seen this? I think I can get the regular 22.5 grate for the middle layers but for the top one, I may use a smaller grate.

I do have a question about actual application.. I am new to smoking meats in general, I am hoping to learn how to use the UDS at least..
