I'm a mustard freak, I put mustard on anything and everything, especially sandwiches. For some reason or the other, I can't recall ever having a mustard bbq sauce.

What is your favorite commercial mustard bbq sauce?

I also make my own. I haven't found a good bottled sauce that I like, but then again mustard BBQ sauces are not plentiful here. I've never seen Cattlemens mustard sauce. I would give it a go. I use the regular sauce in some BBQ bean and other dishes sometimes.

I am also wanting to try a good mustard sauce for the next butt I do. Does anyone care to share a recipe they like?

These two are my favorites both good but different

Sweet Mustard Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

1 cup cider vinegar

2/3 cup prepared mustard

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 teaspoon white pepper

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper

1/2 teaspoon hot sauce

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Directions

Stir together first 8 ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes.
Remove from heat, and stir in butter and Wostershire sauce.

Roxy's Mustard Vinegar Sauce

1 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup Yellow mustard
1/4 cup onion finely minced
2 cloves garlic pureed
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

Combine ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
For a smoother sauce, blend on high for a few minutes.

Maurice's bbq sauce out of Columbia SC , is a good commercial one .
I usually make my own , basically use Roxy's recipe.

Cattleman's mustard sauce is amazing and is one of the few sauces with smoke flavor added that's worth buying Imo. I like to thin it out with a bit of apple juice and mop it on smoked chicken. Blues Hog's mustard sauce is top notch as well, but it didn't blow me away like their other sauces. Also, Famous Dave's mustard sauce is killer, but is more vinegar based than others. Those are the only mustard-based commercial sauces I can think of at the moment.
